Dr. Madison Cockrell

PT, DPT

Originally from sunny California, Dr. Cockrell moved to Oregon to pursue a Doctorate in Physical Therapy at George Fox University, graduating in 2024. During that time, she met her husband and fell in love with Oregon, deciding to make it home!

Her clinical rotations focused on pediatrics and sports orthopedics, and a memorable PT service trip to Uganda ignited her passion for working with children. Since graduating, Dr. Cockrell has been working as a Pediatric PT for the past year, treating patients from birth to 18 years old. She specializes in managing conditions such as torticollis, developmental delays, toe walking, orthopedic injuries, and neurological disorders. Her favorite populations to work with are babies and young athletes.

One of the most rewarding aspects of working in pediatrics for Dr. Cockrell is empowering patients and their families with the skills they need to help their child thrive—whether it’s achieving developmental milestones or returning to sports.

Dr. Cockrell’s love for physical therapy began through her own experience as an athlete. She started playing tennis at age 10 and went on to play collegiately at Biola University in Southern California. Injuries throughout her tennis career sparked her interest in PT and led her to pursue this fulfilling career. She even coached kids’ tennis while in PT school!

Outside of work, Dr. Cockrell enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, hiking, baking, and playing pickleball or tennis whenever she gets the chance.
