Kate graduated from Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2018 and has worked as a pediatric physical therapist since graduating from PT school. Kate has always had a passion for working with kids as well as for health and wellness. Kate grew up in southeast Michigan where she was involved in competitive figure skating since she was 3 years old. Kate completed her undergraduate degree in exercise science at Western Michigan University.

While at Western Michigan, Kate was a member and captain of the collegiate and senior level synchronized skating teams. Prior to moving to Oregon, Kate had been working at the Pediatric Rehab Center, part of the University of Michigan health system, since she graduated from physical therapy school. At the Pediatric Rehab Center, Kate worked with kids of all ages, ranging from infants 2 weeks old up to teens and young adults. Kate worked with children with a variety of orthopedic and neurological conditions including developmental delay, torticollis, CP, sports injuries, chronic pain and more. Kate has a passion for working with kids of all ages and helping them to reach their personal goals.

Over the last 3 years, Kate has also specialized in treating pediatric pelvic floor conditions in children 2-18 years old. Kate has taken multiple courses focused on treating kids struggling with toilet training, constipation, urinary incontinence, encopresis and pelvic pain. She recently moved to Oregon last year with her husband. Kate’s favorite part of being a pediatric physical therapist is helping kids get back to doing what they love. Whether it’s running, dancing, bike riding or playing with their friends, Kate enjoys making PT fun to help kids reach these goals. Kate loves staying active and getting outside by running, hiking and being outdoors.
